OPSI, the Israeli franchisee of UPS, was awarded the IT Award in the Information Security category for implementing the Internet isolation project in the company, using a solution based on the Crusoe product developed by Crusoe Security.
Shai Gutman, VP of Information and Digital Systems at OPSI says: “Frankly, I have to say that I was skeptical as to whether we could isolate the Internet, which is a key tool for access and work in our organization. I’m very happy to eat my words in this case. Along with 100 percent information security, we are able to provide users with a great experience. Crusoe Security, through Integrity Software, our valued supplier for many years, invests heavily in the continuous improvement of the product so that we enjoy a great customer experience.
“Not only were we able to isolate the risks coming from the Internet, we also prevented and blocked threats that penetrated the organization in other ways (mail or internal factors) that needed the Internet to leak classified materials out or to obtain encryption files for ransom purposes. In this way, we have doubled and even tripled the value of the system!”
